With the Merak AntiVirus solution you protect efficiently the entire e-mail traffic trough your Merak Mail Server against current virus. Merak AntiVirus is extraordinarily fast and efficient using multi threading. Individual reports to the receiver, the senders and the administrator can be sent.

The AntiVirus option can be easily activated in the Merak Mail Server after purchasing the appropriate license:

If a virus in an e-Mail or e-Mail attachment is detected, the e-Mail can be deleted, rejected or replaced by a message.

You determine whether all e-Mails or only those of the accordingly selected domains and accounts are to be examined. Likewise outgoing e-Mails can be examined:

Merak AntiVirus is updated daily or once per hour. With the additional Active Update license your Merak Mail Server will be informed (pushed), as soon as a new anti virus database is available.
